Pros

Smartbridge was my first employer out of the military and college. Overall, I was a stranger to the world of IT, and nervous about learning the ever-evolving ropes of the business. However, because of the engaging work environment, opportunities to be mentored, patience from leadership, and the plethora of engaging programs offered to staff, I quickly became an SME (within my job function). I loved this team and still do. Frankly, I attribute much of my career success to the knowledge I gained there, even beyond the world of IT. In fact, as a decision maker in my current role, Smartbridge was my first consulting engagement when our organization considered implementing RPA into our business practices. Do yourself a favor... if you get the opportunity to work here, don't pass it by. The culture their is frankly the best I've seen among the existing positions I've held. Plus, yearly evaluations are a hard thing to come by now days. You'll get that and MUCH more at Smartbridge.

Cons

I gained 15 pounds working there because of all the yummy snacks in the breakroom, which literally never run out it seems. But hopefully I burned a few of them off playing ping pong in the company break room!

Pros

This is a stable small business with very large diversified clients. I stay busy! Mostly remote work, depending on how far you live from the Houston office, but you come in the office anywhere from 1 day a week to a quarter.

Cons

Sometimes hard to get balance if clients and internal work are all coming down on you at once. Have to learn to prioritize and manage time on your own or you can feel overwhelmed.
