Pros
Not sure of any apart from helping people rebuild their confidence and keep it but this was a personal goal
Cons
Hours, demands, bullying - it’s a franchise that’s sold as a self-employed position at 10-15hrs a week once established the reality is so different, you are beholden to the corporate fat cats 24/7 as their demand requires! They say potential earnings in Ireland are €200-€600 per week - they say you’re in charge of your own taxes. Revenue Ireland have confirmed the profit per member is €1.25 if it’s your main job, if your working full time it’s around 0.67c per member. On the basis of their ‘sales’ at ‘Opportunity Events’ this would mean requiring at least 160 members per week minimum. An almost impossible task although they will have you believe otherwise. Lots of groups have been forced to close in Dublin since May mainly due to extremely bad management, false belief & reverse psychology at District Manager level and lack of knowledge for district area and laziness to gain knowledge of District in addition to higher management failing to see the issue and removing that person. They rely heavily on members regaining the weight they lose so they become returning members by encouraging overeating with ‘free’ foods to keep them profits rising!
