Pros
Literally none. This is a shoddy organization using free apps to run the business.
Cons
You will have minimal training. You will be on your own for everything. You will be micromanaged yet have no support. The company transmits state and federal code and inspection forms via a FREE app called “Camscanner”. It’s a buggy, zero cyber security app, that should not be submitting state forms. They train employees how to cheat inspections so certain construction companies and managers can sell substandard housing. I’d wager every inspection is falsified via traceable documentation. The pay is very minimal for what you do. New employees will be picking up all the slack for employees who can’t perform the minimum required for the position. They are protected and you will do extremely heavy lifting for a job paying less than McDonalds. You can expect a $20/hour starting wage with minimal raises and an extremely heavy workload. OSHA standards are ignored by leadership, and if there are ANY issues between the techs and customers, the company will always take the customer’s side. I have been physically assaulted by costumers and was reprimanded for defending myself. You will be performing inspections under another inspector’s name. The company was under indictment from the DOJ for falsifying government estate and energy inspections. They paid millions in fines. They will be under investigation again. Now they are owned by Quality Build.
