Pros
This company churns through so many people they forget you had a position and tell you aren't qualified for the same position after going back to school for a Penn State University 1/2 Master's degree which is the completed Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain Management with a 3.56 g.p.a. (A-) Somehow you are then years later you are not qualified for the same position they laid you off from. They claim they are EEOC compliant and go out of their way to hire the disabled in affirmative action, but they rather rehire people who have gone to the competition i.e. Gate Gourmet and then have come back even after a complete roster change of upper management. This is a round roulette table of professionals moved from kitchen to kitchen that can't seem to remember things. But their upper tier management has moved together into the waste recycling business which was probably one of their own suppliers they still use.
Cons
Well since I was there they removed the Market General Manager and the General manager. When one warehouse was moved over a draw bridge they simply decided to throw away thousands of dollars of beer, wine and other products that they shouldn't have stored outside the locked cages as the warehouses didn't have the proper licenses to store those items legally. But hey I'm not qualified.....to make decisions and was walked out of the door because I was laid off....? Did they follow their own dismissal procedures from HR? Nope I have certainly learned a lot more about HR law since then. Graded discipline didn't happen. Zero previous complaints. Whistleblower complaint was faxed to Germany who did nothing.
