Pros

- Daily catered lunches are a game-changer. The food is genuinely great and they offer something for everyone, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, you name it. It’s thoughtful, convenient, and just one of those perks that makes the workday smoother. - Fast-paced, but in the best way. Things move quickly here, which keeps it exciting. You’re constantly learning, adapting, and growing. If you enjoy being challenged and staying engaged, this is the right environment. - Tons of opportunities to grow and learn. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies and be encouraged to stretch your skills. There’s always something new to dive into, which makes it easy to keep evolving professionally. - Supportive leadership and team culture. Managers are approachable and actually care about your development. Teammates are collaborative and always willing to help. It’s a culture that really values people. - Fun daily tournaments. These are a unique touch and make a big difference, great for quick breaks, some friendly competition, and bonding with coworkers. Overall, just a great place to work. Between the perks, the culture, and the people, it’s a workplace that gets a lot of things right.

Cons

No real cons to mention at the moment. And if something does come up, leadership is pretty receptive to feedback and works to improve things quickly.

Pros

- Free lunch - Nice office - Great health insurance - Good hours

Cons

- All the negative comments about the CEO are true - HR acts like they want to help but provide no assistance - No raises or bonuses in 2 years and current employees will most likely never get one as Skillz can not meet its goals and raises/bonuses are based on meeting those company wide goals - No support for player advocacy / trust and safety until the situation is at its worst. Have heard a recruiter refer to the team as "children" so team is not respected by the company as a whole. - The company used to be remote, but they have heavily pushed and forced RTO. When I left, I said in my exit interview that I was leaving for a remote role and was told rudely by the HR BP "Wow, people are so spoiled from COVID and remote work.", which I felt was an unnecessary comment from a HR professional. - High turnover - Not taken seriously when providing advice on product launches and the potential fraud that will be seen until it balloons to a point that VIPs take notice and request refunds in mass or users cheat and manage to take thousands in profit due to faults in new product launches and updates. - No job growth
