Pros
- Great team to work with, supportive managers and bosses who understand situation (lack manpower) and very aware of what employees go through. Won't force you to die die finish by deadline especially when our plates are full and don't have extra help. - Company celebrates many occasions and give out a lot of leave (birthday leave/ entire week off in December/ vaccination leave) and random days of ME time on top of 16 days annual leave. When you add those up, you actually get more leave than the average 21 days. - Company has quite an impressive budget for celebrations and wellbeing of staff, attempts to make employees happy with team bonding activities, gift boxes. Prizes for kahoot/ team activities are very attractive ($500 MBS voucher, staycations, nintendo switch, ipad, gopro etc). - Insurance is very comprehensive, visits to GP etc are fully claimable. - They are aware of each employees' contribution and will reward accordingly during EOY review. - Little to no office politics in my experience, perhaps position may not be high enough to get involved with upper management. - Big boss of boss attempts to get to know staff. Will listen to you sincerely. Upper management mostly open to comments and will do their best to make changes. - Can choose to work from home
Cons
- The great resignation happening recently, severely lack of manpower. - Lack of AWS/bonus is one huge con. - Often involved unrelated employees in meetings which wastes time - Observed that some colleagues often no time to complete work during work hours due to multiple back-to-back meetings that take up the whole day
