Pros

A great way to be inducted into the modern world of broadcasting because after you work for SBG, any job with another company will be a step up. Most non or low/middle management employees are very nice, they're all in the same boat after all.

Cons

You will get paid a below average wage. You will not get much training. The Peter Principle is in full effect at SBG. The business model goes for low hanging fruit. Being associated with a right wing company. 1 1/2% annual cost of living wage increases with bonuses based on sales quota performance (sales has separate quotas and bonuses), Don't count of seeing more than $100 extra per year. Unless you're in Baltimore or Seattle, don't expect great equipment or computers. You'll eventually drop down to doing the bare minimum. You'll eventually spend part of your time hoping to get fired.

Pros

Flexibility with my schedule to be able to take and pick up my kids from school. Great team to work with at my location. Ability to train and do jobs outside of my regular task to get hands on experience in other areas.

Cons

Department was restructured and my position was relocated.

Pros

Job can be fun depending on if you're a natural performer. You gather valuable experience interviewing others.

Cons

Terrible pay and culture. They will likely not pay you commission for anything you sell so do not take that on. Focus on your primary job.
