Pros

SIMULIA is a solid company with excellent growth, a diversified workforce, and very very smart people. The work can be challenging and there is a wide range of things to choose from. Facilities are excellent. The company encourages movement within the organization and will generally work with anyone to facilitate a change in position, location etc. The work environment is casual, friendly, and flexible. Managers treat employees well. Plenty of mentoring and opportunities for learning.

Cons

The "one company" vision will be a challenge to accomplish. Recent emphasis has been a bit heavy on short term return but I guess this is part of being a public company. Recent changes have created a sales force with too much compensation based on individual sales. Maybe the current model can be fine tuned a bit to enhance cooperation. Recent changes have tried to address this but more needs to be done. Again, this might be a symptom of being part of a larger public company.

Pros

Work-life balance is nice. Fellow colleagues are friendly and helpful. Work environment is healthy in almost all aspects.

Cons

The pay is a bit lower than tech companies. But as long as you don't crave for pay that much, it's a decent job to stay in.
