Pros

Team leads actually wants to listen to you

Cons

The issue isn’t with the team or the team leads,it’s with leadership. They only seem to care about themselves. Our year end reviews, which should have been completed at the start of the year, didn’t happen until May. Our bonuses are supposed to be distributed after performance reviews, but leadership keeps delaying that process. They’ll even dock you for the most trivial reasons just to avoid paying out. And mind you the bonuses are around $300–$400 to begin with. There’s also something off about the CEO. He constantly talks over people when they’re answering his questions, comes across as rude, and definitely shows signs of founder syndrome. I watched him push out two of the most respected leaders in the company simply because they stood up for the team. The company advertises an “unlimited vacation policy,” but they’ll turn around and fire you for using it. Raises? Basically nonexistent. You can work here for years and still not see a salary increase. Honestly, you’d probably earn more and be treated better working at your local McDonald’s. No exaggeration.

Pros

There were some nice colleagues who genuinely tried to help the new people.

Cons

- Transparency. What they call transparency is really the leadership asking you questions under the guise of caring about your experience at their company, so they can afterwards use whatever you say against you. - They say they value input. Nope. They don't. They value praise, gratitude, and pretending like everything is great. - This I suppose applies to all customer service jobs: In customer service you talk to the people for who are having an issue getting their insurance up and running. The reason there is an issue can range from: the team at SI who were supposed to the paperwork are too backed up and understaffed with work, the papers weren't filed properly by the client, the insurance they picked is also backed up with their submissions. Either way, as a Customer Service rep, everyone is mad at you, and you're the only one who can't do much about it. - The company hadn't figured out training their new people at that point. There was one person showing you what to do, but then constantly saying then you click here, and here, and here, but your screen will look different, because you don't have access to any of this.
