Pros

1. Starting pay is usually above average.

Cons

1. You will never get a raise 2. Not full time 40 hours per week. Full time to Simonmed is 32 hours per week, anything over that has to documented by you as to why, regardless of how many patients you do. 3. They care only about the number of patients you do, the more the better. 4. Benefits Suck! Starting PTO is 2 weeks per year (there is no sick time), no 401K matching, health insurance premiums are outrageous for family coverage ($720 per month for 3 people 2.5k deductable 80/20). 5. If you want 40 hours per week you have to use PTO. 6. They could not care less about their employees because in their own words "we have a stack of resumes this high!"

Pros

Supportive team environment with meaningful projects and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in healthcare marketing. Interns are trusted with real responsibilities and receive valuable exposure to branding, communications, and business operations.

Cons

Because the company is growing rapidly, there is always something new to learn and adapt to, which can create a fast-paced environment for interns.

Pros

I've been with SimonMed for almost four years and have had the opportunity to see the organization evolve significantly during that time. The company has embraced a forward-thinking approach, with a strong focus on innovation, technology, and long-term growth. Recent leadership changes have brought fresh energy, clear direction, and meaningful investments in both operational improvements and the employee experience. It's encouraging to work for an organization that is actively investing in new technology, modernizing processes, strengthening its brand, and positioning itself for the future. There are opportunities to contribute ideas, take on new challenges, and be part of meaningful initiatives that impact the business while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Cons

As with any growing organization, change can happen quickly and adapting to new processes takes time. Continued communication during periods of growth and transformation is always beneficial.
