Pros
Strong leadership at the partner and managing director level. The firm works on interesting real estate investments and many senior team members are great to work with. Good fit if you don’t mind being closely managed and prefer clear structure over autonomy.
Cons
Day-to-day management can feel overly micromanaged. There also seems to be some misalignment between the culture at the senior level and what employees experience day to day. The organization is quite top heavy, and the experience of those at the bottom can be a bit of a blind spot, which may contribute to turnover. Some personalities can be difficult to work with and unpredictable. For me, this was severe enough to negate all positives and I could not in good conscience recommend this role to a friend.
