Job security, upper management will gossip about other employees, there is no real training. When you don't understand something they offer no support to learn the process. They show preference to their friends, and only allow vendors that the partners get 'kick backs' from. They run maintenance super thin and don't understand why so many of their employees suffer burnout. They switch out managers/maintenance so often they never learn their properties the residents see the revolving door or they promote people that aren't ready.
