Pros
good worklife balance somewhat flexible working hours talent retention program available (mostly) respectable upper management members
Cons
Overall, a slow-paced company that might be more suitable for retirement planning. Technology development is slow, local knowledge is very poor due to strong reliance on Germany's support. Non-existent training opportunities. If you are looking for personal learning & development, u'd have better luck elsewhere. Job nature is repetitive & lack of new challenges. You pretty much lose interest 3rd year onwards. that's when all the talent retention programs come in - to tempt you to stay. Inter-department: no teamwork cross departments, office politics is common technique to shift workload & responsibilities. The department with stronger leaders win. passive-aggressive work culture. quality of middle management is very inconsistent - they are either incompetent, blindly following the top, or pushy and domineering. Intra-department: KPIs are not linked to staff's capability - we see low performing & defensive staff pulling the team down and supervisors do not care. lack of transparency in staff's career path and bonus scheme. strong tendency to penalize staff on medical & personal leaves, so much that attendance seems to be the only deciding factor for bonus allocation
