Pros
The pay is decent, you get a laptop and 2 monitors when you onboard which is nice.
Cons
Very poor senior management in IT. They’re hierarchical, unclear on expectations, change priorities daily but expect the teams to constantly perform and produce, and communication is poor. When you try to escalate issues you’re told that it’s your fault that communication is bad and you need to find a way around it. The turnover rate in IT is rising because people don’t feel seen, heard or valued for their work.
