Pros
It was ok while it lasted. My supervisor (now retired) was a good person and a good boss, and I got along with most my co workers. First impressions when hired were mostly positive. Some staff was extremely welcoming and kind, others not so much. (I believe I left in 2016, website wouldn't let me select anything before 2018)
Cons
I can only speak for the IT department. We had very limited resources and systems. User passwords and inventory were on an excel spreadsheet. After a few months I noticed how much gossip and office politics went on everyday. It was toxic and unpleasant. I was let go without warning (no written or verbal) as my contract stated that I needed and this was just before bonus pay that I never received. I am still not really sure what happened. The pay is horrible, and I met a lot of condescending people in upper management. Boardroom meetings were pointless, people talked about ideas that never got accomplished. I feel bad for some of the IT people if they still work there. I feel they can all do better. Being let go from this place was a blessing in disguise for me and many years later I am writing this hoping the place has improved. Overall a superficial place with a lot of immature people running it.
