      Pros

      The staff (both your team and the central office) are incredibly supportive, and you really form a bond. You learn a ton of skills that you wouldn’t learn in other jobs, and become great at problem solving.

      Cons

      The job is all-encompassing, and so for the ten weeks that you’re working during the summer you don’t have time to really travel or go out much (but it’s so worth it for the right type of person)

      Pros

      Inspiring young adults to see how the work they put into serving a community reaps benefits for that community as well as themselves. Also you work with other awesome young people trying to change and inspire the world.

      Cons

      Could use some more time off during the week, but they are in the process of changing the way that is set up.
