Pros

The people in the UK team are a talented, great to work with bunch.

Cons

I wish I had listened to the reviews on glassdoor before I joined, by the sounds of it, nothing has changed in the past few years. This was by far the worst employee experience I have had in my career, and went from someone consistently over achieving on target to someone whose confidence was on the on the floor. There are a few areas I’d like to highlight: - Shootsta calls itself a start up, and tries to blame constantly changing the goal posts on this, however the company has been around for about 10 years so this is absolutely not the case - There are no women in management roles or strategic roles (higher paid version of the AM and AE role), when leadership were challenged about this the response from the CEO was ‘well it isn’t for like of trying’. - There was no professional development plans or pathways and no way to understand how to be promoted. - Expected to attend meetings at 6am because of the HQ being in Australia. - Suggestions for change only listened to if you were the CEO, COO or CTO or department head. All changes to the UK team and services were done without any consultation of what was actually happening within the customer base from the people on the ground. - 0 benefits and statutory holiday, very unusual in the UK. - Roles and job descriptions were changed with no notice a couple of weeks into the job. - Commission structure was changed 3 times in 7 months. The company has a lot of work to do, I hope they start listening to what their employees have to say.
