Pros

Shing's biggest strength is it's "client success" attitude, which flows over into it's employee's success as well. Never treating either as a "one size fits all", customizing for the best client success or employee success is what they are exceptional at. Every day I get to do what I need to to feel successful.

Cons

They move quick, in terms of technology adoption, creative solutions and over all business driving. It can be a challenge to adapt in the quickly changing environment. I like it, but it's definitely not for all.

Pros

- Company cares about their people - Work is busy, keeps you active - Expenses are repaid quickly and the management team is very effecient - Management is kind (mostly), and able to get great conversations about career growth and opportunities - Owner encourages growth and lets people make mistakes to better their careers.

Cons

- Compensation is not balanced, some people make as much as $15k less than others - No accountability for Team Leads/Supervisors - Management can be very authoritative.

Agreed, we do need to empower our staff more and have taken this advice to heart. As a part of our growth strategy, we are investing more in our staff than ever before. From our team leaders to our to managers, they are all getting one on one training from an outside management consultant on how to be more effective leaders in the organization. We have also designed a new org structure that makes it much easier for our staff to identify where they want to take their careers to make the most of their skills. Compensation is also much more transparent on the roles so that staff can identify what skills are necessary to get to their compensation goals.
