Pros
Lots of pto and holiday time
Cons
Where do I begin? The leadership at this organization is a joke. People who have no experience in supporting partners are top executives who pat themselves on the back and spend their time at expensive conferences (most of which there isn’t even a need for them to be at because it doesn’t pertain to them) or traveling to extravagant cities to meet once a month and “collaborate”, while hourly employees never get a pay increase other than COLA. They also claim to be “anti bias” yet will make sure they are promoting or hiring people who they personally want. Even though they went through this whole process of creating a “bias free” interview plan. Also, if you are not drinking the koolaid, you will be pushed out. You’ll reach out for coaching, support, guidance and hear nothing back. This company used to go above and beyond to meet the mission, creating an Inclusive and collaborative environment, but now it seems to be about money and not the children and families anymore. I could go on, but the change in leadership over the years and the loss of legitimately inspiring, impactful, compassionate, and honest leadership really hurt them and says a lot.
