Pros
PTO of 3 weeks Coworkers are nice.
Cons
SALARY: The base salary for the Digital Consultant role starts at $40,000, with the potential to increase up to $45,000 based on your interview performance and prior experience. Progressing to the Digital Consultant 2 position offers a slight pay raise of $5,000. Transitioning to the Team Coordinator role from a Digital Consultant position could mean a salary increase of around $10,000 from the base. VOLUNTEER: The company frequently requests volunteers to assist with projects and audits across various brands. While volunteering is encouraged, the high frequency of these requests raises concerns about the absence of dedicated teams for certain brands. This leaves the impression that the company might be leveraging its existing workforce under the guise of volunteer work, potentially avoiding the need to establish dedicated teams. WORKLOAD: The workload has the potential to significantly increase, sometimes even doubling or tripling, based on team staffing levels. It's important to note that there is no option to decline the additional workload, and you're expected to cover the increased responsibilities without extra compensation. This situation can persist until new team members are hired and adequately trained. TRANSPARENCY: Transparency appears to be lacking within the company. Upper management doesn't consistently communicate the possibility of contract termination, leaving employees uncertain about the security of their positions. This lack of transparency can lead to a sense of job instability. The initial full remote work arrangement transitioned to a hybrid model (2 days in office). The company's decision to move towards a 4-day in-office week was conveyed through email rather than an open discussion. While it's possible that this direction had been planned for a while, it wasn't communicated to the workforce until recently. VERTICAL MOBILITY: Not a lot of promotion opportunities at this job. Management will say that there are opportunities but very little to actually see.
