Pros
Good work experience as a first job out of college. 401k matching at 6% on a stock that is performing well. Make your own hours for the most part. Lots of room to move up.
Cons
The reason I left, Extremely underpaid based on geographic location and relative to other company’s in the region compared to housing costs. They say you can make a lot of you hot your numbers and bonus but sales goals are set way out of reach. Must work 48 hours per week minimum. Need to work weekends if needed. Most employees are young colleged age kids with no work ethic and hard to motivate. Very hard to find part time employees therefore always understaffed and overworked. The salary is including the 8 hours of overtime you work every week which adds another $15k a year. If you were to work a Normal 40 hour week you would make that much less so they sort of trick you with the salary. Work life balance non-existent. Very difficult to take a vacation longer than 2 days. On top of this you have the typical cons of working retail.
