Pros

You’ll meet some very good professionals on their way out of the door.

Cons

Unreasonable and bullying behaviour from SMT. Self-serving with little interest in the community they serve.

Pros

Very supportive peers High levels of autonomy You have the freedom to work in a highly person centered way

Cons

Staff support is appalling and neglectful: - Training is almost solely limited to online courses - which I believe their sole purpose is to protect the company from litigation. - New staff working from home receive little to no training in doing their jobs. - The company provides social care services for care leaver and young people with SEN, and NHS mental health services, as such all frontline staff work with highly complex individuals, such as care leavers, young people with autism, suicidal young people, young people with eating disorders and a whole array of other needs; yet the company provides no clinical supervision for staff. - Staff working from home have no-one checking on their wellbeing despite engaging in highly emotionally engaging work. - Senior management are totally detatched from frontline work.

Pros

Made good friends with some colleagues. Pay is good. Good if you enjoy working with young people who can be challenging.

Cons

Sometimes if you don't fit the mould of where you're working colleagues won't value you as a person. Some deputy managers are absolutely useless and I found that due to my background my manager tended to get political with me. No chance of progression and lots of part time roles or full time roles that are contracted.
