Pros
I liked the idea of working at a "Spa", they attract a lot of young people who are generally enthusiastic, incense, music. There are a few very nice clients.
Cons
This is NOT a front desk position. Please think hard before aplying here. I recommend applying at any yoga studio or gym instead. When they say that you are attending to guests. They mean you are constantly moving, followed by sales deliver. Proper training on mind body is also not given. Pasadena has stairs that you are going up and down 60+ times a day to clean sweat and provide water/towels. My hip and back would hurt at the end of the day. They don't even suggest proper stretching for all that bending and the steps. They hide behind a cute instagram- but once you are hired they literally take you to their scheduling portal where you can read that YOU are responsible for covering your shift when sick. Meaning if you miss a day last minute (as in- if you are sick without knowing a week In advance) you are met with devil eyes when you get back. There are only tow of you working at a time so it just means the other girl has to work even more like a dog if you can't make a shift. Or maybe you are that girl. Also, cleaning up sweat bothered me more than I thought it would. Some people stink and sometimes sweat gets on your skin.
