Pros
There are a number of good lawyers around to learn from, many of whom are genuinely decent people.
Cons
It's just a terrible place to work, all the way around. I honestly cannot remember any staff member, associate, of counsel or income partner that did not hate working there. There is virtually no positive reinforcement for performing well, and you are constantly in fear of losing your job, having your pay cut, etc. Management understands that attorney jobs are hard to come by in this economy and does not hesitate to exact as much as it can from its people before discarding them. There is an elaborate system in place to ensure that no matter what you do or how well you perform, they will always have some excuse to penalize you and claim that it is performance-based.
