Is this your company?

Worst employment decision I ever made. - Front Office Seven Investment Management Employee Review

Pros

I can think of nothing positive to say about this company. I suppose it's a positive that you don't have to work on Christmas Day... well not yet anyhow.

Cons

What a terrible mistake I made accepting a job offer here! I was swayed by the H.R interview I had, only to find that what I had been told and promised was basically a tissue of lies, and when I confronted the person with what I was told it was categorically denied and I was basically branded a liar. I suppose it could only go further downhill from there. Seven I.M offer a very unpleasant environment in which to work. Double standards are rife. If your face fits the rules don't apply, if it doesn't they will create new rules to catch you out and drag you down. This company only seems to exist to fuel the ego of the Senior Employees. Company image takes precedence of working conditions, with staff constantly given public slap on the wrist so as to belittle them. I tried raising these issues with management and H.R, but was just made to look and feel foolish. I do find myself lost for words, you have to experience this place to fully understand how bad it is to work here, we can only hope that the current employees will jump ship at the same time, leaving this investment vessel to sink to the bottom of the financial ocean where it belongs with it's captain still clinging onto the wheel, although I get the feeling he would be on the first lifeboat available giving a TV interview as the ship went down behind him..! Please don’t work here!

I'm sorry to hear that you felt coming to 7IM was the "worst employment decision" you made. Your views of the organisation and your time here are very different to the general positive feedback we receive. We recognise that not every company is right for every single individual; the probationary period is in place not just for the employer to assess how a staff member is performing in their new role, but also for individuals to come to a conclusion about whether the role or the company is right for them.
