Pros
You truly have a great opportunity owning your own franchise. Flexible schedule, decisions are ultimately yours to make.
Cons
The flexible schedule is true but you'll most likely be working 55+ hours a week to be successful. There are many conflicts with employees. Their schedules, attitude, performance, etc. Then there are also many customer conflicts. I'm sure there are many janitorial services that are profitable but I don't get the support on the field I expected for 7% of my monthly revenue. It is pretty sad they require you to purchase supplies from them but then don't have the basic materials sometimes and other times it ships out 2-3 week later. A burnishing pad is a standard supply in our line of business. I had to outsource it. Their system isn't great, their marketing support is virtually non-existent and each important business function is extra. You need SEO, you pay a certified vendor, you need legal advice, you pay extra to a certified vendor. You want training you pay extra. You basically get a few business consultations for your 7% (decreasing on volume) monthly fees. This number is quite large when you realize you could pay much less to a consultant when needed.
