Pros

-401k match up to 4% when the employee contributes 5%. -Pay was satisfactory. -My position had a flexible schedule. -Some positions are able to work from home. -Some great people work here. -My immediate team included some of the kindest and most enjoyable people I have ever encountered. -Insurance offerings were subpar, but improving. -A full time Human Resources Director was just brought on recently and that has created some positive change in the atmosphere and culture.

Cons

-The CEO micro-manages every aspect of this company. You will have very little input and very little freedom to perform the work you were hired to do. Yes men are the best men here. -Communication between all members of the institution was poor, but improving. -Consistency was lacking. Processes were changed day-to-day and management occasionally did not follow their own dress code, which was not setting a good example for employees. -New employees were started with zero to two weeks of PTO and could only accrue three at the very most. -I was personally told by my supervisor that I was never allowed to take a full week of vacation again (after I did it once) and they recommended I take Thursday and Friday off to make a long weekend instead. -I brought my concerns about my workload (which I felt was excessive) to my supervisor on at least four occasions and was met with: “Work harder.” “Work overtime.” “We’ll look into it.” (Nothing came of this statement) “You don’t actually work 40 hours.” (Suggesting I did not work 40 hours a week because I took full advantage of the two paid ten-minute breaks per day that are offered to office staff). I typically worked 42 - 45 hours each week. -I genuinely had concern about the amount of hours technicians were expected to work. It was fairly common for technicians to work 60+ hours in a seven day cycle. -Criticsm of any kind is met with hostility, even if it is presented in a polite manner. -Turnover is awful. As of my leave I was the fifteenth most tenured person there, out of roughly fifty employees, with just under two years of employment. -Upward movement and promotion opportunities are virtually non-existent.

Service Professor, Inc. (MI) Response

Many stretches of the truth are stated here, many. Let me start by saying that I apologize that it didn't work out for you here at Service Professor. The supervisor in question also holds his people to the highest of standards and I also apologize that you two were not aligned in the same vision of where your performance needed to be. What is missing in the above review are the actions and lack of performance facilitated by the employee. These have been rectified with the replacement of this position. Not every company is for every employee and not every employee is for every company. We always take feedback, positive or negative, and improve SP and our culture, this review will be treated no differently. I am absolutely positive you will find the right fit and will be overly successful. You will do great. -Brad, President.

Pros

The pay is the only pro.

Cons

Toxic Company Culture. Zero respect from department managers Very poor training ran by unqualified people. Other department supervisors will yell and belittle you for every mistake. Managers do not care at all.. Managers spend 70-80% of every day in constant meetings and offer zero support.
