The people you work alongside are without question the highlight of the company. Despite the difficult and often unstable environment, the team remains incredibly supportive, talented, and collaborative. There’s a real sense of camaraderie among colleagues, and many go above and beyond to help each other succeed. It’s a testament to the individuals, not the culture, that any good work gets done

My time at Servent was unfortunately defined by a serious lack of structure, support, and modern leadership. Despite the company operating in a modern tech space, internal practices are outdated and chaotic. There is a glaring absence of process, which results in frequent and inconsistent guidance from management. The CEO’s leadership style is rigid and domineering – it’s very much “his way or the highway” regardless of your experience or area of expertise. This approach creates a cycle of failure, constant rework, and significant frustration. Instructions change week to week, so you must document everything to avoid blame. Onboarding is virtually nonexistent. Rather than being equipped with the tools and context you need, you’re left to navigate the role via generic YouTube videos that aren’t relevant to your responsibilities. Feedback is routinely dismissed and rarely addressed. Staff are let go without explanation, and decisions around personnel often feel reactive and unprofessional. Over a span of two years, more than 10 people either resigned unhappy or were fired – a staggering number for a company of this size. There’s a strong sense of discontent and anxiety among the team, with some employees openly worried about their job security. Sadly, the culture encourages survival over collaboration, and benefits reflect an outdated view of employee support. If you’re looking for a stable, respectful, and progressive work environment, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere

However, we must respectfully disagree with several points raised in your review, as they do not accurately reflect the current state of our company. Firstly, we have a well-defined structure and support system in place. Our recent employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) survey, which resulted in a score of 70, indicates a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement. This score reflects the positive experiences of the majority of our team members and contradicts the notion of a lack of structure and support. Regarding the concerns about management and leadership, we strive to maintain a collaborative and inclusive environment. Our leadership team is committed to providing consistent and clear guidance, and we are continuously working on enhancing our internal processes. The claim that our CEO's leadership style is rigid and domineering is not accurate, as we actively encourage open communication and value the expertise of our employees. As you know, we take onboarding very seriously which is carried out in person over a number of days with a very structured plan agreed and regular follow ups in place. The assertion that onboarding is virtually nonexistent is simply not true and is something that we receive consistent positive feedback on. Feedback is an essential part of our culture, and we are committed to addressing any issues that arise. We regret that you felt your feedback was dismissed, but we assure you that we take all feedback seriously and work diligently to improve our processes. We understand the importance of a positive work culture and are dedicated to fostering an environment where collaboration and support are prioritised.
