      Gratis, discount, fun customers usually, learn a lot about a lot of product lines

      I'm in a sephora inside jc Penney. They only hire jcpenney people as management because they are closing jc penny's stores all over and placing people in sephora who have no experience in makeup. I've trained my two managers in makeup and they get more hours and paid more. Sephora is ok, but you are stuck in a dead end Job not a career if you are in a jc p sephora.

      Pros

      Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!
