Pros

- Easy to sell products that I love - "Gratis": free products for employees to try out - Training by various brands - Fun co-workers - Leads (managers) are generally nice and understanding

Cons

- Hours (like any retail job) - the incentives for employees are getting worse and worse (less gratis, bonuses are almost impossible to get ie. goals set too high) - Customers getting more demanding (ie annoying)

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
