The micromanagement era has begun at SentinelOne with sales leadership now creating multiple bottlenecks of busy work that make it very difficult to close business in a timely fashion.
Promotions are seemingly decided by 2 Senior Members of sales leadership flipping a coin in the back room. Tenured members of the salesforce who built the company often aren’t even given the opportunity to interview for management roles.
The new product sales are virtually non existent as Engineering and Sales Leaders have spent the last year talking up products that lack functionality versus trying to figure out why they are having trouble selling.
Worst of all almost all key members of the team that made the company great/took it IPO have left from the President, COO, CRO, to Head of Product and many others within the last 18 months.
