Pros

The company offers flexible hours, modern office space, and enthusiastic colleagues.

Cons

The company was consistently behind on payroll for months at a time, unclear expectations and directions from upper management, and poor judgment/strategy by CEO.

Pros

Extremely talented group that works well together. A mission you can understand and want to contribute to. Room to be creative and open with ideas. Doing something completely new.

Cons

Tight schedules. Normal schedule is out the window, but that is a startup when you are trying to improve an entire industry.

Pros

It is rare that somebody gets to work under a passionate visionary; a CEO that believes in their goal and chimerical path, while infusing that in to the team members he employs. At Senseye, the doctrine is thinking outside of the box with passionate purpose. This collaborative synergy creates an environment of family; a family that energetically moves towards unified goals. Senseye is a small cooperative team that works steadfast in the field of (Neuro)science and engineering with a passionate foundation and unrelenting support platform from the corporate owner and executives. As an employee of Senseye, I personally feel like I am allowed the prolific, creative, delusive freedom needed in order to design and execute novel research that makes changes at the grass roots level that impact people on both a small and grand scale; all the while being fully supported along the way.

Cons

A regular 9-5 schedule is unlikely. Employees are faced with adaptation. We are working with, and for, a "family"; always setting and meeting timelines in the interest of the greater whole. With that being said, adaptation is a profound process. It means you figure out how to not just survive in the world but how to thrive in it in order to change it for the greater good.
