Pros

The only pro was leaving this company

Cons

•toxic work environment where sexist and racist remarks are deemed as playful jokes •90% of their reviews on google and apps such as Glassdoor and indeed are either their favored group of employees posing as customers or customers that they’ve paid to give them a 5 star • virtually zero training, and their objectives and goals would change daily (the owners don’t know what they’re doing) • operations team made so many mistakes that I couldn’t count on both hands, and when issues were brought to the owner he would totally change his demeanor into that of a tantrum throwing child and project all of the issues back on you holding zero accountability •there’s a small group of reps that would receive special treatment such as being provided pre generated leads and those same reps would turn around and tell the rest of us we weren’t working hard enough when in reality they were being spoon fed •when you start they’ll have those same reps come to close your deal for you (so you do 98% of the work and they come in “to train” and take 50% of your commissions which is absolutely ridiculous) •pointless mandatory weekly sales meetings where no one social distances or wear masks (that could easily be done on zoom) where you are grilled about your sales •employees will pretend to be there for you but then talk poorly about each other as soon as someone leaves the room • I could go on and on but essentially this company just sells lies

Pros

Make things work for you. They owe you nothing and you owe them nothing. Contract with multiple companies or business avenues if you’re knocking doors. Don’t brand yourself as a senga rep. Market yourself as a home improvement specialist. Contract with roofing, solar, windows, siding, hvac, plumbing etc anyone you can to maximize your time and money. If you generate a lead, it’s yours. You can sell that lead for commission to anyone you want to.

Cons

Don’t do anything you don’t want to do. Legally you don’t have to. Don’t go to the meetings. Don’t attend calls. They can’t limit your scope of work or “territory”. There’s nothing they can require of you, make your own choices. Place is basically a cult. They trick younger people to go out and generate leads and then cut out half their commission for their preferred people. They make you attend weekly meetings (illegally) to make you feel like you’re apart of something and a team member. But you’re not. They don’t actually care about the people generating the leads. Just the “closers” and “sales managers” who come in at the end to cross the t and dot the i and take half your commission. You go out and knock 300 doors a week to generate maybe 1 close. They come in and close 10 jobs a week, effectively making 10 times as much without any of the work, and you have no choice in it.
