Pros
They're flexible once pandemic hit when it came to PTO and working remotely
Cons
The company is built on a a foundation of really shady affiliate marketing companies. Most of the Sendlane customers are scam affiliate marketing companies or dodgy really small e-commerce companies. You can't build a successful company on the grave of an affiliate marketing company, it just doesn't work like that. It's deeply engrained into the company and you can tell. They routinely have to ban customers from the platform for shady practices. I don't see longevity being possible when the market is severely oversaturated with much, much better and cost efficient options for email marketing. Leadership that doesn't invest time into properly training individual contributors or ensuring the success of those at the entry level. Incredibly underpaid staff. Starvation wages (this is probably because making payroll is a struggle). I was told by my direct reports that everyone in my position was severely underpaid and CEO just vehemently disagreed and wouldn't make any changes.
