Nice environment - Operator Seletar Country Club Employee Review

I joined as a fresh graduate with a computing background and was initially unsure how a country club would fit my career path. I am so glad I took the leap. The work environment at Seletar Country Club is incredibly welcoming, and I absolutely loved my position. The biggest highlight by far is the people—I worked alongside the most amazing, supportive colleagues who made every day memorable. Management was willing to give me a real chance to take ownership of projects early on, which provided an excellent foundation for my career. At Seletar, you truly have the freedom to present your own ideas and innovate freely.

Because it is a country club/hospitality environment, the pace and digital priorities can sometimes differ from standard tech firms. If you are looking for a traditional corporate tech ladder, you have to be proactive about carving out your own growth opportunities - Which again can be a positive outcome.

Seems to have good benefits on the surface level.

Be very careful when work there, at first people may seems to be nice but when they dig info about you they may purposely use it against you. My dept is easily targeted as we only have asst mangager. Also ladies please be wary, when you're the only female in your dept. At first they brush it off as jokes till lots of incidents happen that I have to report to Aware. Some also threathen they have connections or act like smart-alec just because they work there or know people there longer. When ordering at Tavern they treat new staff as invisible and I tolerate it to one of the waitress even push me. Alot of office politics, bullying and sabotage till the point of harassment I have to report to AWARE. Unsupportive HR and management, when bullying take place they're tell you they are seniors etc. After my reports hopefully the next person will be luckier.
