This is a company that has been active in Tech Research for over a decade, and has mature processes and toolsets, with a focused R&D team that has provided us custom research tools, built on top of leading LLMs. We also get to train and refine our own models and utilize them across various research modalities. It's a great way to learn these cutting-edge techniques. Our team and manager has been great to work with. I get to work from home!

Great coworkers. Working from home and being able to set a more flexible schedule. Learning a lot about SEO and software, which is highly valuable and transferrable knowledge.

Lack of clarity about expectations, stagnant career growth with no opportunities/promotions/raises. my feedback was "heard" but never really incorporated into changes. micromanagement through time tracking, moving goal posts for production quotas that made it breakneck for our teams to keep up. myself and several of my writers experienced heavy burnout without chances to recover. eventually I quit for a position paying a salary more commensurate with my expertise.
