Disappointed and duped - Clinical Staff Segal Trials Employee Review

I have been mistreated, unheard, and extremely disappointed with my time at Segal trials. The senior Living division is less than 1 year old and is the most toxic work environment. I had 2 promotions dangled in my face and given to others with no explanation. Later, I realized how much favoritism had to do with promotions at this company. When conflict has arisen, everyone is quick to point a finger at someone else, and even turn it back on the person bringing up the conflict. The company culture is satisfied with creating hostility among employees and unnecessary competition. I have been put in situations that make me very uncomfortable, have been verbally abused, and at the end of the day management does not want to hear what you have to say. The travel required for the position is not near what was originally posted in the job description (10-15% posted, but minimum 40% of your day is traveling), and they are very slow to pay out mileage reimbursement. Requesting time off takes weeks to months, regardless of how early you submit the request or how urgent the request is made. The level of disorganization is beyond frustrating, especially when the staff on the ground level are working very hard to achieve goals. Ultimately, I wish I had thought more of the yellow flags I saw in the interview and listened to my gut.
