Disappointing - Consultant Secuvant Employee Review

Close-knit group, family vibe, many opportunities to add value & affect change, able to improve services offered, an owner that cares, ability to be successful every day

As with any startup, which tools & technologies & timing are best suited for current and future customers, Security immaturity & readiness of smaller customers.

Everyone is very polite because the majority of the team is Mormon.

Total mismanagement. Over the past 10 years, Secuvant has gone through multiple complete overhauls, firing all existing employees and essentially starting over. Most of the products and services are nothing more than empty (sales) promises with layers of smoke and mirrors. Over the past 2-3 years, Secuvant has lost ALL of their largest and more mature clients. The Leadership Team will do anything to appease existing and potential clients with half-truths and heavy handed sales tactics. Secuvant is NOT a security organization, Secuvant is a Sales organization. The founder and CEO is a lifetime IT salesperson who thought he could delve into cybersecurity as a cash grab. This place is a total catastrophe. I would avoid at all costs, both as a customer or employee. It is known that Secuvant rarely pays its own bills on time. The organization is technically run by the Chairman of the Board through the CEO. Neither the Chairman or the CEO have ANY IT or cybersecurity experience. They are truly running blind. If you are seeking employment, I would avoid Secuvant unless you are Mormon. The same goes for clients or customers, avoid unless you are Mormon. There is a high degree of Mormon nepotism all around.
