Interacting with other teams was often unpleasant. It felt as if my team was held to a higher standard when it came to interacting with other teams, who were frequently dismissive, rude or unhelpful. The culture of SeatGeek often felt like a facade; fun and exciting, but in reality, it was a very unprofessional workplace with management who couldn't keep up with executive demand.
I was laid off and as part of my severance package I was "gifted" the laptop I worked with. Unfortunately, despite what HR had guaranteed, the laptop was never factory reset so it's technically still a SeatGeek laptop that I can't use because the admin profile doesn't belong to me, and trying to get the IT team to help has been a months long effort that they seem to be totally incapable of resolving. So now I'm stuck with SeatGeek company property that was abandoned with me, a former employee.
