Pros
Good way to break into tech sales and get experience with cold calling. Work/life balance is solid.
Cons
Literally just sit there on an auto-dialer waiting for someone to pick up. Straight spray and pray model with most of it just coming down to luck. Obviously need to know how to talk to someone, but without strategic prospecting - basically just comes down to who gets the best connects. If you don’t get on a team you enjoy, you will be miserable. The definition of the rich gets richer. Pay is not competitive in the industry at all like they say.
