This company is so far the worse and most toxic place I have ever had to work for. Genuinely the worse months of my career. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone not even my worse enemy. This company does not have a list of core values , there’s a lot of gossip and toxicity in the office. This gossip comes directly from the “big bosses” everything seems to be “confidential” but it always ends being gossip. In the past 2 months I saw more than 10 employees resigning and the managing team wouldn’t move a finger to retain them even that those employees have been working at the company for several years. Loyalty is not a part of the culture of this company. They’re always hiring externally , and refuse to increase internal salaries when needed. Special when the competition salaries are 10x more attractive. They simply don’t care. There not incentives of any nature in this place. I went back home and described as “Hell” to my partner. The external talent that is hired is always inexperienced staff, with less than a couple of months doing the job, but they’re are being paid a crazy amount of money for doing absolutely nothing. The BPs in this company are genuinely a big concern. They are very unprofessional and make inappropriate comments about employees. Employees who do not trust them to even discuss their concerns. Which in my opinion is a huge problem. Not being able to trust the people you are meant to trust when there are irregularities in the workplace gives a lot to think about. Loads of fake promises are done at the beginning. Specially when they’re recruiting. The managers hire extremely quick they don’t explore their internal options as they just care about filling the vacancy. I had a personal horrible experience in a 1-2-1 with my ex last manager. Where my performance came into questioning. I was doing several of overtime without getting any extra remuneration for it and as a couple of mistakes were made due to the stress and pressure. My ex line manager decided to mention that my performance was not good enough and everyone was getting a pay rise but me. I was going to have to wait for 6 months more to have another 1-2-1 review to see if I deserved the pay rise then. I find out with colleagues as I said everything that is meant to be confidential ends being public knowledge. The pay rise was a mandatory process due to the living cost crisis but the line manager decided to exclude me from it. However they denied me £500 and I now earn 2 x my old salary with a huge list of benefits. The trainings in this company are poor, they’re all rushed and they managers do not focus on getting the employees to feel comfortable with their roles when they already bombard them with hundreds of different tasks. The line managers do not praise their employees or treat them with the respect their deserve. There’s not diversity in this company either. I experience several uncomfortable moments with different colleagues due to my ethnicity. There’s only white people in the offices and it doesn’t feel like anything else fits apart from that group. Line managers tend to focus on everything that is negative coming from their employees. Instead of helping them develop. A lot of unconstructive feedback was given to me several times. It just knocked my confidence down and made me feel incompetent when I was clearly not the problem. The managers can be too informal as well which to me is something that shouldn’t be happening. There seems to be a lot of favouritism in the HR department as well. I feel like they just treated me as a number. They also believe education matches experience and this is why they hire overqualified people with 0 experience. I do not think this company is learning from their mistakes so it is just failing and falling into pieces. They soon will end with the only 5 people they like the most.
