Pros
Once you're 'in', and do your job, you're considered valuable. If your position goes away, they try to keep you. Work-life balance is good- not much expected outside the normal 8-5.
Cons
Horrible vacation accrual, no chance for raises unless you change job title, 'perks' aren't really perks, HR escalations are merely a tool to report you back to upper management, and compensation isn't in line with industry standards. They think that they're on an island or something...
