Not worth it since RTO Mandate - Anonymous employee ScanSource Employee Review

Prior to now, I would have said the flexibility in work location and hours was a major plus, but now, the management has arbitrarily mandated a return to the office. They say it is for "collaboration" but really, at best it is about control and at worst, it is a backhanded way of cutting staff. The Management was either negligent in their analysis of how this would effect their employees, which are humans (for the time being) by the way, or they just don't care and chose to lie about their true motivations. Aside from that, I would describe the culture and work environment as chaotic at best. There seems to be little interest in rigor or developing good processes, let alone set any kind of clear expectations for employees.
