Cons
One of the most toxic working environments I’ve worked in. There was a constant sense of instability internally, with high turnover, reactive decision-making, and frequent fire-fighting instead of proper planning. The culture could feel extremely draining at times. Gossip, favouritism, blame-shifting, and unprofessional behaviour were common, and trust between teams was very low. It often felt like internal politics mattered more than competence, professionalism, or collaboration. There also seemed to be a strong hire-and-fire mentality in certain parts of the business, which created anxiety and poor morale across teams. Many employees did not stay long, and there was little sense of stability internally. Ongoing internal and profitability pressures also appeared to contribute to the stressful environment and constant restructuring mindset. Communication and leadership alignment were weak, resulting in confusion, stress, and unnecessary operational chaos on a regular basis.
