Pros
Savoya is a call-center based service business in the ground transportation business. Some of the pros are: 1. Location: Has a panoramic view over Dallas downtown. Sits right across Klyde Warren Park and the Dallas Museum of Art. 2. Benefits & perks: Pay was competitive and benefits were industry average. Food and snacks served on a fairly consistent basis as a perk on busy days. Perks in certain teams are very good 3. Coworkers : Great camaraderie within your own tight knit team and life events and successes are celebrated on a consistent basis.
Cons
Unfortunately, the earlier reviews in this webpage are consistent, except for the ones chimed in by loyal management. 1. The stated value system goes contrary to the sub-culture that exists with management. As a result, the annual employee turnover rate is one of the highest I have worked for, Either you are allies with some in the management, or your days are numbered. Not the best place to work for, unless you are in a season of life before looking for a better one. 2. Not much opportunities to advance as the company size is limited, and though performance is rewarded your future depends on how you handle #1. The management structure is not flat and hence your opportunities will depend on who you know and timing. 3. Values: Savoya values are for client marketing purposes and the external service values projected do not necessarily trickle down to its employees. Overall, Savoya is a great place to work if you are someone in a season of life needing a temporary job before you settle in on a more secure one or if you are still figuring out your career options right out of college. For the rest of you, follow what your gut feeling is and take your talents somewhere else because you probably would save yourself a lot of trouble
