Cons
- There were multiple cases of bullying and harassment. It's not looked for, understood, prevented, or dealt with. - The leadership style they demonstrate is one that lacks curiosity, undervalues listening, and emphasizes aggression. - Rigid hierarchy where engineers are told over and over to be autonomous, rather than actually granted autonomy, and treated as though they are in need of constant supervising and mentoring. - Dominance and idolisation are reinforced, while genuine ability to lead, to bring people together, influence them, and synthesize something beyond one person, is overlooked. Focus is on making everyone into "autonomous leaders", but what's lacking are interactive skills, the ability to listen, understand, influence, and persuade.
