Pros
Sarson Funds is an incredibly visionary company. They are going places in the cryptocurrency space as leaders in the field of finance.
The culture is both tense and fun depending on the day, but there's never a dull moment. As a fast-paced company, they aren't flexible on time and everyone works outside of the official 9-5 hours but they do it with joy. Work hard, play hard. I know I did!
There are a lot of personalities and it makes the environment colorful with conversations and meetings. Everyone feels heard and acknowledged because everyone brings a different quality to the team.
Anyone would be lucky to work for such a great team.
I will miss working with Sarson Funds and had so much fun. Leaving was very difficult. But, as former CEO of LinkedIn, Jeff Weiner, once said, "Firing or transitioning these people is an act of real kindness. One of the least compassionate things you can do is let that person stay in a role where they're way over their head." While I don't completely agree with the decision, and was not stressed by the work, I accept and understand. I hope to find something that is a much better fit for me, where I can add value.
What I liked most about Sarson Funds was the exceptional generosity and concern team members and leaders had.
If you want to go where there will be financial success, Sarson Funds is undeniably on that path! If you like a place that is exciting, challenging, dynamic, with chaos and structure, as well as fun, go to Sarson Funds!
Cons
What I liked least was their inability to find value and quality outside of an old business model. Progressive companies today are moving away from that and I hope they adopt new ways of managing people so they can continue to attract talent.
For being non-traditional in the financial market (cryptocurrencies), they are old-school traditional in their corporate expectations and structure.
I chose not to stay because I don't like the rigid "9-5" punctual structure. Although I was always happy to work late, on weekends, evenings, and emergencies, I was not good at being on time.
