Fantastic company culture. I felt highly valued and appreciated. I learned more at this company than at any other I've ever worked at.

The company did too well - it was purchased for its patents and sales force, and the rest of the staff was let go and the office closed.

Small company environment allows you to gain experience and exposure to many different areas of the pharmaceutical industry. If you work hard and build advocates you can be a part of many different committees i.e. sales compensation, sales training and development etc. and build your skill sets

When times are good you can be lulled into thinking that you are a highly valued team member. Like most pharmaceutical companies there are challenges i.e. products going generic, lost court cases etc. Hard work, self sacrifice, and top performance will not save you if a patent is lost etc. There is just not enough revenue streams to endure a product miss.
