Pros
Great place for those looking to start their banking careers. Self-starters and the highly ambitious will find ample opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience.
Cons
Santander is not very innovative more of a "copy-catter" than trendsetter/thought leader. The technology is cold war era and remains light years behind the digital age. The bank has a very strong sales culture but fails to have the appropriate tools, training and management resources in place to support such a culture. Santander is behind the curve in virtually every aspect when compared to its peers. Perhaps recent management changes will affect long over-due changes.
