Pros
Free coffee, free cookies/donuts/lunch a couple times a year Flexible scheduling Co-workers and supervisors are extremely reasonable Super-relaxed dress code Very few requirements for entry level positions, easy to advance to a middle level position Overtime available to anyone and on a volunteer basis. Mandatory OVT is rare. Good stepping stone into almost anything else in manufacturing.
Cons
No raises unless you push for it, and if you do, there's a 50/50 chance of being let go on the spot vs actually getting the raise. They do not even do cost of living. Extremely outdated, broken down equipment/presses that you are expected to operate and fix ASAP Temps are not treated like human beings. They've exhausted most of the locally available workers, so they bring in temps from wherever and don't do any screenings at all. Therefore turnover is ridiculously high. They're at the point now where they bring in felons and immigrants.
